General Ledger Accounts

General Ledger Accounts - General Ledger Accounts control the flow of  registering accounting transactions in the system.  If you assign a General Ledger code to an account you can change the code later if you decide the format or number does not meet your needs.  In the video below there is also a brief discussion on Sales Tax Accounts.  Although the video displays the option of deleting a sales tax account, that is only possible if there are no transactions connected with it.  Below is a video overview.
