Work Order Finished Good Document
- Work Order Finished Good Document - Connected to the Work Order Used document the Work order Finished Good document specifies the expected quantity to be produced and the actual quantity produced for the finished good being made. Once this document is posted the Work in Process account is reduced and the Finished Good Inventory is increased at the facility specified.
- Work orders are usually generated by converting a work order template (Bill of materials) into a work order instance.
- A work order can be created on the fly without using a template and just specifying what is to be made (the finished good) and what is to be consumed including raw material component inventory and overhead cost applied items.
- You can create and manage templates for work orders from the Work In Process menu item and then going to work order related options and choosing work order templates.
