Inventory Items

Inventory items are used to control the flow of stock among your warehouse facilities.  Inventory and its corresponding cost of sales are automatically managed with the Inventory Control account.  Once an inventory item is created in the system the transactional flow is managed according to the posting of control documents that contain inventory items on the document.  From the Inventory menu you will find in the inventory related options, a number of ways to track the flow of your inventory transactions within the system.  Please watch the video below to learn more about inventory items.
